Officers

Tim Sanders, President. Tim is from Scottown, Ohio, where he attended both Symmes Valley High School and Collin’s Career Center. Having previously attended The University of Rio Grande, he enrolled at Marshall University in the middle of 2008, and has since served two terms as President of the Marshall University Libertarians. Tim is a History major, with a minor in Political Science. He currently resides in Gallipolis, Ohio with his wife and daughter.

Harrison Davidson, Vice President. Harrison Davidson was raised in Ragland, WV and came to Marshall University in the Fall of 2009. He pursues a B.A in History as well as minors in Psychology and Spanish. Harrison refers to himself as a panarchist, believing that it is not governance that is bad, but its only evil comes from it being forced upon others. Harrison pursues self-education and seeks constant re-evaluation of his own moral and ethical standards, beliefs, and ideas; considering these two things to be most important in the furthering of ones own understand of this realm.

Joshua Parsons, Treasurer. Joshua was born in Winchester, Virginia, and raised in Moorefield, West Virginia. Joshua currently purses a B.A. in Economics, as well as three minors, English, Greek, and Mathematics. Joshua strives–personally, philosophically, and politically–for consistency, pragmatism, and “ilm,” while acknowledging the world’s complexities. He presently resides in Huntington, West Virginia.

Ward Hiney, Media Director. Born and raised in a satellite “dead zone”, Ward has never been photographed by the government.  His whereabouts are currently unknown.
